luncheon

was at Bonefish grill, a holiday to-do from work.

Had a nice bowl of Ceasar salad “Crisp chopped greens, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, heart of palm and pine nuts. Tossed with citrus herb vinaigrette.”[I, apparently have picky readers here, double-checking my staunch veggie lifestyle and such!!] , pecked at the Linguine pasta with crisp broccoli and zuchhini, and tasted some delicious moist strawberry cake.

What did you have today? :-)

  1. metlin: My bad, it was house salad. I was half sleepy with a heavy meal when I wrote the post, but in any case I do like the dressing. One of thsoe times when I choose to jump on the other side of the fence! :p

BPSK: Yea, can’t eat anything that moved once. So what did you have?

    Baph: LOL. :) Petu!

    KC: haha, :)

  2. Sigh – I had half a box of soggy egg fried rice (other half stolen by colleague too lazy to go out in the rain and buy lunch) :-(!

On the brighter side, the office kitchen currently has a yummm supply of homemade fudge varieties and cookies. And we have a party later this noon :-D!

And ennadhu idhu, you eat salad and all for lunch? Salad for me usually falls into “this is chumma food, I will have proper food later.” category :-D!

  3. Salad – Lettuce, spinach, Cucumber, Some pasta salad, some Couchous salad, some Caesar salad, some egg, chick peas, raisins. :–)
All in one small tiny bowl.

  4. bpsk:

your influence, eh? ‘bpsk ke haath kaafee lambe hain thaakur’ :-)

    rads:

brownie, brownie, brow… (that’s because i saw a hair on it and threw the rest), chips, murukku, eggless cake rusk, some udupi mixture. that’s it – quite a diet, no?

  5. metlin:

what does the normal caesar dressing have? i am not big on salads anyway (it is the other stuff that make me big ;-)), so this is just a curious question.

  6. sb: yes, it’s anchovies.
What? hair? ew! Even in a brownie? Usually I thought rice dishes were a hot fav!

SK: That’s possible? You took one leaf, and 1 slice of cucomber, 2 strands of pasta, 1 spoon of couscous and a sprinkling of the rest? or is your definition of tiny say hmm.. 8 inches wide bowl? ;-)

Pilgrim: Okay, speaking of Turkey, I have just been told that young good-looking sharp featured hot young men there row boats bare-chested and lift little ladies by their waist from boat to boat! hmm.. That’s a nice visual. For me, I mean.

Archana: soggy? It rains inside CA offices too eh? :p
Salads are awesome. Of course I need rice in between the salads too, so… ;)

  7. rads, are you talking of Turkey the country or some restaurant with a smiliar name? If it’s the country, I say screw Hawaii and let’s head to Turkey instead. I can live on pita bread for a few days.

  8. terri: Yes, I was thinking along the same lines, do a hiking trip into Turkish inlands. This another new Turk at work has gotten all the girls in quite the knotted bunch. :)

    BPSK: Modesty? *gasp! ;)
