  1. usually, the reason is “when I cant be a part of the conversation” rather than plain vainlla “lol” :P

ps: Can you tell am bored?

from ur picture, it does seem so :D

  2. schmetterling: Totally! Countdown to July has begun! yay!

Pavan: lol, I shall even let that slide by coz you decided to come out of that hiding place you’ve holed yourself a while now :P

Altoid: Thank you! Am glad at least one person thinks so, and since that’s you, it means a lot :)

    Sush: Hehe, feeling chirpy :)

    Pilgrim: Wrong post :P

  3. When I joined B-school, there was a novel demand on the likes of us – say something in class. It used to be called class participation. Most of us had spent our lives keeping quiet. That was the single most important requirement of a student – shut up. In every class, in every gathering, before every guest at home the instruction was “keep quiet”. And here was a dignified – ok, ugly and dignified – professor asking us to say something. This was like asking an alcoholic to sample the booze for free. We went nuts. Initially, there was a semblance of sense to the participation but after a while, most people spoke just because they liked to hear the sound of their own voices. Your post seems to be an invitation for this. I for one am taking it up. Don’t be deleting my comments just because they don’t make sense, because they won’t.

  4. Oh noo…now I feel terrible for having been a lurker! Anyway I guess it’s not too late to tell you I love the way you write :-) I am grappling with the whole work/home balance issue, so can totally relate to your posts.

  5. Baph: Aye Aye Cap’n!

Anuradha: Yay, one lurker dethroned! :D
Thank you for your nice words, commenting and indulging my tantrum. :)

Naren: This comment has left me all confused. Are you saying am an ugly yet dignified professor yielding a rolling pin like in the picture, and yet not saying it? :)

Neha: LOL. Between your exams, burdened table, and me, it must be tough eh? :D

Mystic: Of course dear girl. It’s just me being bored and throwing a tantrum :D

  6. I’ve gone thru ur old post…Good one :) If the post is too lengthy or if it appears complicated for me to understand, I’ld postpone reading it and later I totally forget…hmmm, ee sari nundi comments raasthanu

  7. hi there again, I can also relate to your work/life balance posts. Congrats on the reduced hours, hopefully I could do the same someday :)

  8. Kiwi: hehe. Sometimes assurance is like a drug!
I just did the tag, but yea, will do it again :)

WT: aw, you do? Don’t tell me you a devoted student :P
Thank you, though I personally think I look doped. :\

S: Oh yea! Am so happy, am telling it to every stranger I see. Poor things!

  9. Hey, no, ma’am. I was just indulging in my old vice – reminiscing. The said professor could not be blamed for resembling a fish. Indeed, the uncharitable among us even named him Matsyaavatara. But the guy was instrumental in getting the bunch of us to communicate.

  10. oh but i always say hi.
